My amazing wife Karen Diamond lost a staggering 92kg to overcome diabetes, high blood pressure and kidney failure. After doctors told her she’d have to go on ddia dialysis if she didn’t change hhe her unhealthy lifestyle, she m ma made her choice and joined a gym. Karen, 46, went from eaa eating a loaf of bread, four liit litres of soft drink, pizza and cac cakes every day, to a highprop protein, low-carb, low-fat, no-n no-sugar lifestyle. Five years of hard work has se seen her weight drop from 160kg to 68kg. She can go on carnival rides and buy clothes off the rack, but most importantl­y, Karen feels alive, free, fit and loves her new self.
