Insiders say the pair have been enjoying secret meet-ups after the Hollywood hunk and his estranged wife, parents to four-year-old son Jack, decided their eight-year marriage was over.
It comes as no surprise to fans, who have been quick to blame J-law, 27, after noticing the pair’s chemistry in Passengers in 2016. While there’s no evidence of an affair, that didn’t stop the rumour mill at the time, with whispers Chris, 38, was cheating on Anna with his co-star.
They looked cosy on the promo trail and gifted cast and crew with mugs featuring their portrait. Chris spoke of their friendship, saying, “We became fast friends and I can never get tired of Jen. She’s always fun to hang out with. We laugh a lot and I had the best time making the movie with her.”
