He’s 33 years her junior, but super-fit Dame Joan Collins has made it clear to her fifth husband, theatre manager Percy Gibson, that he needs to trim down and tone up in order to keep up with her!
After new pictures emerged of her hubby looking slightly chubbier than usual, the 84-year-old acting veteran declared, “I tell my husband, who’s 51 – I think, I never remember! – that he’s got to exercise more because I exercise more than he does.”
When asked previously about the problems of marrying a man so much younger than herself, Joan memorably quipped, “If he dies, he dies.”
The star herself exercises two or three times a week, saying, “I have a trainer who comes over, and I do stretches and lunges. We don’t do anything too strenuous because I don’t believe in ‘no pain, no gain’.”
