Hugh & Deb’s SECRET SECOND WEDDING!

The Aussie acting legends tie the knot for a second time

-

Theirs is one of Hollywood’s longest-lasting love stories – and after 21 years of marriage, there’s more romance for Hugh Jackman and Deborra-lee Furness than ever before, with reports they’ve celebrated their love by tying the knot again in a secret affair back home in Oz.

After jetting to Broome in north WA earlier this month, it’s thought the acting A-listers stayed at media mogul Kerry Stokes’s luxurious mansion by beautiful Cable Beach – which has played host to former prime minister Kevin Rudd and a number of other celebrities looking to escape the spotlight – and it’s believed this could be where they said “I do” for a second time.

“They really wanted to celebrate 21 years of marriage and they decided the best way would be to renew their vows,” reports a source close to the couple. “They had their hearts set on eloping to a secluded beach with just them and the children.”

Hugh, 48, and Deborra-lee, 61, first wed in Melbourne in 1996, a year after meeting on the set of TV series Corelli. Their wedding rings featured the Sanskrit inscription, “We dedicate our union to a greater source.”

At their second wedding, their friend tells Woman’s Day the groom presented his bride with a $250,000 “re-commitment ring” inscribed with the words, “For yesterday’s memories, today’s love and tomorrow’s dreams.”

Our source explains, “They wanted to relive their original ceremony as much as possible, although they did rewrite their vows and Deborra-lee wore a far more modern designer frock than last time.”

Shortly before the pair boarded a private jet to Broome, they looked smitten as they posed for

a selfie on Bondi Beach on July 28, with Hugh captioning the shot on Instagram, “Me & my beach babe.”

Three days later, as if once more hinting at his and his wife’s plans to seal the deal again, he posted another picture, of a heart drawn in the air by a skywriter, captioning it, “Couldn’t have said it better myself. Love over Bondi.”

And the good times kept coming for Hugh and Deborralee, who enjoyed an exciting second honeymoon in WA. Hugh, who has 14 million Instagram followers, shared pictures of himself posing in front of a crocodile, catching a fish and diving into a waterhole.

Their getaway wasn’t just filled with adventure – the loved-up pair also made sure to take some time out to relax and enjoy the beautiful hotspots of WA.

Locals say they also indulged in a romantic lunch at The Bay Club restaurant at Broome’s Mangrove Hotel, where they took in the stunning views and splashed out on cocktails.

Friends say the devoted parents of Oscar, 17, and Ava, 12, are just as crazy about each other as they were when they met all those years ago. “Hugh says it’s like they’ve fallen in love all over again,” our source says.

Indeed, in April, the Wolverine actor posted a tribute to his wife on Instagram, writing, “To the love of my life. 21 glorious years. I love you with all my heart.” In June, he gushed, “I’m married to the greatest woman alive. She’s amazing. We’re best friends and we share everything. She’s smart.”

The secret to their unbreakable bond? “We always said we’d never spend more than two weeks apart,” Hugh explains. “Sometimes life and work does get crazy, but we met on my first job, when she was already a big star and I was a nobody, so we have shared everything, all the ups and downs, and always will.”
