It’s just so beautiful!

Queenstown is set within easy driving distance of some spectacular places. Head along the Glenorchy/queenstown road and you’ll be pulling over often to take photos. Drive to historic Arrowtown, where you’ll feel like you’ve gone back in time – it’s a beautifully preserved old gold mining town with some great shops and cafes. If that isn’t scenic enough, Lake Wanaka is worth a visit, and you must go to the top of Bob’s Peak on the gondola. It’s the steepest in the southern hemisphere, and takes you high up above Queenstown where you can try the luge track or bungeejumping and, if you’re feeling energetic, hike back down.
