GEORGE'S FIRST DAY AT BIG SCHOOL!
The ffuture king took it all in his stride
Up early in his new bedroom at Kensington Palace last Thursday, cheeky Prince George was reportedly bursting with excitement on another historic occasion for the royals – his first day of school!
Having packed his navy backpack the night before, Kate and Wills watched on with a mix of pride and trepidation as the four-year-old headed off to meet his classmates at Thomas’s Battersea in London for the very first time.
But George was raring to go – and by all accounts, he was on his best behaviour!
Thomas’s takes both boys and girls from four to 13, with fees around $27,000 per year. As well as the usual subjects, the school offers ballet lessons, skiing and pottery.
As far as the canteen goes, George will be eating only the best. The menu, which changes every three weeks, includes lamb ragout and baked smoked mackeral served on a bed of puy lentils. Now that’s what we call food fit for a king!
