While the nation was celebrating Father’s Day last week, House Rules host Johanna Griggs was marking her own momentous family occasion – her youngest son Joe is set to become a first-time dad!

“Huge congrats too this gorgeous couple!le! Our youngest son Joeoe and his beautiful partner Katie are going to become parents in February. Todd and I are beyond excited to be grandparents, and my mum Leigh is to officially be known as ‘GG’ going forward! Exciting times ahead,” wrote an overjoyed Joh of she and her husband of 11 years Todd Huggins on Instagram.

“My work colleagues have already dubbed me Joh-nanna, which might just stick!”

While Joh, 43, is clearly ecstatic at the pro prospect of becoming a grandm grandma, there’s one man she di didn’t mention in her ce celebrations – the father of Joe and her eldest son

Jesse, both in their early 20s, and now grandfatherto-be, Gary Sweet.

But despite Joh’s relationship with Gary, 60, having been far from amicable in the past – the actor left Joh when she was just 24 to raise their two sons as single mother – friends close to the TV star say there’s no bad blood between them these days.

In fact, the arrival of Joe’s baby in February is likely to bring them closer together than ever.

“Joh and Gary made up long ago, and her boys have become closer to Gary since he settled down with [fiancee] Nadia [Dyall],” confirms our source, who says when Gary and Nadia had baby Fred, now two, he acted as the catalyst to reunite the family.

“Even Joh thinks becoming a father again has made Gary a better man. They’ll always have the two boys as a bond, and they’re both thrilled Joe is going to become a dad. It will give him the direction he needs in life.”
