Mariah’s sad weight confession

Mariah Carey is heading to a weight-loss retreat in order to shed the kilos she’s gained recently. “She wants to get things under control and drop at least 50 pounds [22kg],” says a friend, adding Mariah is sick of the jibes about her yo-yoing weight. The news comes as the 47-year-old singer reveals, “I’ve always had low self-esteem, and people do not recognise that.”
