SAM’S BRAIN SNAP OVER EDWINA’S CRUEL JIBE!

You had to feel some sympathy for Sam Armytage last week when her Sunrise co-star Edwina Bartholomew took a nasty swipe at Sam’s celebrated single status – on air.

The tension between the two stars, which Seven has always downplayed, spilled over onto the set when newly engaged Eddie, 34, dared to suggest Sam, 41, could hook up with First Dates reject, larrikin truck driver Jake.

“All right, thanks Eddie. God you’ve already become a smug married, trying to matchmake. You just worry about your own wedding, love,” snapped Sam.

Wonder if Sam is off Eddie’s wedding invitation list?
