There’s a game I play each night with my five-year-old son Archie where his stuffed toys give me a hard time before I can say goodnight. There’s one called Cool Dude, who has a habit of well, letting one rip and blaming it on me. Then there’s Teddy, who according to Archie says I’ve got a big bottom, and Pterodactyl, who has a seriously foul mouth. Most of them end up being pelted into the naughty corner until they’re rescued the next night by Stegosaurus and it all kicks off again! Perhaps this is why I got such joy from photos of little royal Mia Tindall (p86) who spent the day chatting away to her teddy bear, at one point punching the life out of it!
