Elyse’s plot

They’ve been fierce rivals since day one, but tensions between The Block competitors Elyse and Georgia have reached nuclear levels and they’re no longer on speaking terms!

In fact, things are so bad Elyse, 24, has been accused of being a “mean girl” and using social media to target Georgia.

“It hasn’t gone unnoticed Elyse has been cropping Georgia out of group shots on social media and making digs at her,” tells a set insider, adding Elyse had purposefully cut Georgia, 33, out of a photo of the girls meeting WAG Rebecca Judd on the show.

“It definitely shows what kind of person she [Elyse] really is… a mean girl,” one eagle-eyed fan commented on Instagram.

It’s not the first time Elyse has been accused of using “bullying” tactics. Just a few weeks ago, the Melbourne model pointedly shared a picture of herself, Scotty Cam, Sticks, Clint, Wombat and Jason celebrating Josh’s birthday on The Block. “It’s Joshy boy’s birthday! New surfboards, cake and great company.

“Thanks to Scotty for putting on a big feast and those who made the effort to come along…” she wrote beside the shot. The caption is believed to have been a direct dig at Georgia.

“There’s been quite a bit of that passive aggressiveness of late, but it is what it is,” Georgia said of the “immature behaviour” that goes on behind the scenes, adding the fraught relationship really got to her.

“Ron was sort of fine with it – it probably affected me more than anything. At one point I was struggling to get out of bed for days,” she tells us.

Georgia also revealed the show had counsellors on hand to help contestants at times when they hit rock bottom. But Elyse believes she deserved it.

“Ronnie and Georgia lied a few times to people’s faces. They’re untrustworthy.” And her partner Josh, 28, agrees.

“I don’t know if we would ever speak to them [again],” the carpenter recently told OK!. “I don’t necessarily like liars. I don’t like fake people who would do anything to win.”
