He hasn’t stopped smiling since he welcomed twins Alexander and Ella into the world, or shouting from rooftops about how much he loves being a dad. Now, friends say there’s another reason George Clooney is so happy – he and his wife Amal are expecting again!
“Amal and George are in complete shock that she’s pregnant with baby number three, especially after only giving birth to twins three months ago,” tells a source.
“George is a little overwhelmed and it’s clear he’s still adjusting to the news. Amal is due to give birth next May, just before the twins’ first birthday in June.”
Those close to the couple say human rights lawyer Amal first suspected something was up when she began experiencing similar symptoms to her first pregnancy.
“She’s eating like crazy and is more emotional than normal,” says our source of the 39-year-old – who stepped out with George looking fuller-figured at the Venice Film Festival. She was also indulging more than usual, craving pasta, risotto and margherita pizza.
There’s no denying George, who recently revealed the couple conceived their twins naturally, is over-the-moon to be welcoming another tiny bundle of joy.
When asked recently if he misses the solitude of his former life, the 56-year-old insisted he’s never been happier. “I sure don’t. That seems like a lifetime ago,” he told reporters.
