The star gave herself the night off – in a big way! And she wasn’t the only one, Britney got in on the action, too!

W e all like to let our hair down once in a while, but Jessica Simpson appeared to go the extra mile last week!

The reality TV star-turnedfashion mogul was spotted looking worse for wear after a night out to celebrate her husband Eric Johnson’s 38th birthday. And we can only assume Jess, 37, went a little too hard on the champagnes!

The mum-of-two – who has Maxwell, five, and Ace, four, with Eric – could barely stand up as she left West Hollywood hotspot Craig’s, despite Eric and a man, thought to be her bodyguard, doing their best

to keep her upright. In fact, if it weren’t for their support, Jess would almost certainly have taken a tumble in the gutter!

It’s not the first time the former Weight Watchers ambassador has been snapped looking a little tipsy after a night out with her hubby. Last month, a fellow guest at The Bowery Hotel in New York said she was struggling to make it back to her room. “Her outfit was all twisted and you could tell she was trying to focus on walking straight – but she wasn’t doing a very good job!”

Jessica’s animated display comes after she shared a rather controversial birthday tribute to Eric on Instagram.

Dressed in a very short Bavarian beermaid costume, Jess cheekily flashed her bottom at the camera. “38 IS GREAT #IAMSOHOTFORYOU,” she captioned the photos.
