We jump into Season five in 1958, when Australian society is being rocked by increasing changes and a tug-of-war between old conservative norms and a growing shift to a more liberal state of mind. Among this undercurrent of turmoil, it seems love is the only real place anyone can call home. When we last left the rural NSW setting of Inverness, Sarah (Martaa Dusseldorp) and George were enjoying fresh happiness as a family with their newborn son, David. Now, it’s been four years since Regina was dragged away in a straight jacket to an asylum for the criminally insane. Will she have changed her ways, or is she dead set on revenge?
