C ricket star Shane Warne was forced to defend himself last week after police were called to investigate allegations of assault between the fatherof-three and Valerie Fox, a British porn star.

Witnesses reportedly saw the glamour model fall to the floor clutching her face after she engaged in a row with Warnie, 48, at Loulou’s nightclub in Mayfair, London.

Valerie, 30, who says she was invited out by friends to join Shane at the “discreet” club, later complained to police that Shane had hit her.

She then tweeted photos of her bruises, writing beside them: “Proud of yourself? Hitting a woman? Vile creature.”

The celebrity spin bowler has since been forced to defend his name and innocence, and wrote on Twitter that he was “shocked” to read stories circulating about “a false allegation of assault”.

“I have been cleared of the allegation,” he commented. “No further [police] action will be taken.”

Despite Scotland Yard dropping the charges, Valerie is still sticking by her story.

So how did Valerie get that t giant bruise? The former cricketer was cleared of all allegations.
