This two-part series is based on the story written by Aussie author Kenneth Cook in 1961 – and the TV adaptation does the iconic read justice. Glitch star Sean Keenan plays teacher John Grant who, after a year working at an outback school, ends up stranded in a small mining town on his way home to Sydney. After getting caught up with shady locals, he quickly becomes involved in a dangerous series of events leaving him broke, desperate and fearing for his life.
