A little kindness goes a long way

There are people in our community who really need to be brought out of the shadows and be recognised by the rest of society.

One of these is single mum Samantha Lysaght. She wanted to create a place where families needing help could get it without feeling ashamed, so she founded Bendigo’s Mums 4 Mums group, which now has more than 2000 members, with five to 10 families reaching out for help each week.
