RONNIE & GEORGIA’S NIGHTMARE

It’s been a gruelling race to the finish line for the Perth couple

It was a dream come true when they were accepted on The Block, but 10 weeks into the series life has become a living nightmare for Ronnie and Georgia.

Just last week – weeks after filming had wrapped – Georgia, 33, was spotted looking haunted as she returned to the site with her husband Ronnie, 41.

According to our on-set spies, the mother-of-three is still doing her best to come to terms with what happened on the show and feels completely alienated.

“The girls [Hannah, Sarah and Elyse] made no secret of the fact they didn’t want to work with Georgia. It got to a point where she was barely on speaking terms with anyone,” reveals our spy, who says Georgia felt bullied, betrayed and abandoned.

“She buried the hatchet with Hannah on screen, but off screen it was a different story,” tells a source, adding Georgia – who has said she found the experience “confronting” – was regularly heard making tearful calls to friends and family at home.

Even the show’s tradies had a gutful. “It was like we were dealing with a bunch of kids. Everything going down between the girls on screen was far worse off screen,” tells one insider.

“Hannah and Sarah would sneak off for their weekly wine gossip sessions and it’s not hard to imagine what they were talking about.”

Even fans noticed how low Georgia felt. “I just wanted to give you a big hug tonight @ronnieandgeorgia … mean girls you have for neighbours,” one said on their Instagram account. “All the girls are bullies deep down,” said another.

Our source says it gets worse this week when Elyse point-blank refuses to deal with Georgia, and is heard laughingly saying, “Yeah I could have traded [vouchers] with Georgia, but I didn’t.”

And as if things weren’t bad enough, Georgia is once again reduced to tears after Keith and Dan tell the spirited reno star there are problems with her house, and she fears she might not make it to auction day.

“I’m just f***ing pissed off it has got to this point. I’m just highly f***ing stressed,” she says, crying. “I can’t be on camera right now – for f***’s sake.”

Her husband Ronnie agrees, “The Block almost broke me.”
