Woman’s Day (Australia)

Spring in bloom

-

These words came to me while sitting in my garden The small – the beautiful, Missed by so very many. The glittering dewdrops, A dainty flower opening to a new day. After a rain shower, A rainbow many-hued. The spider’s web – gossamer fine, Gently shaking in the breeze. Bees softly buzzing, Gathering nectar from the nodding flowers and blossoms. Giant trees dressed in spiky green, Blue skies filled with the song of tiny birds. A bubbly stream, Singing its way to the ocean. Dragonflies with glistening wings. How can we be so blind?
