Ashley’s brave admission

After revealing she’d been sexually harassed by an unnamed industry heavyweight in a 2015 Vanity Fair article, Ashley Judd last week confirmed it was Harvey who took advantage of his power and influence when she was in her 20s.

The actress says he invited her to his Beverly Hills hotel room in 1997, where he asked her to give him a massage and watch him showering. “How do I get out of the room as fast as possible without alienating Harvey Weinstein?” she recalled thinking.

Last week, Ashley, 49, said his behaviour needed to be made public. “Women have been talking about Harvey amongst ourselves for a long time, and it’s simply beyond time to have the conversation publicly.”
