Our land is everchanging

-

Our land is ever-changing, Our land is never the same Our grasses show hues of many colours, Our land is built on fame. The mountains that surround us are mighty portals standing proudly, We are in awe every day of the majesty existing. The sweetness of the bush,, trees and flowers, The intensity of the sun, rain and the wind! We are drenched in God’s diversities, Nature at its best or its worst. We are at her mercy, So we should do our best. The seasons come and the seasons go, The colours do the same. We live in awe again at the newness of the pictures, That we are privileged to see. We are the chosen few, To witness all the glory. Let’s make it worthwhile, And live it to the full! I live at the foothills of these mountains, I breathe the mountain air. I live in a valley that is blessed with beauty all around, I know I will die in this valley when my time has come. Carol Kelly, Emu Vale Qld
