Detox rules

1 Eat only from the Love list below, and choose organic if possible. 2 Cook with care – raw is best, steamed is fine, grilled or baked is OK, but avoid frying your food. 3 Drink at least 2 litres of mineral or filtered water every day. 4 Avoid drinking tea (except herbal), coffee, alcohol, sugary beverages, and smoking. 5 Take a good multivitam­in and psyllium husks – a gentle bulking fibre that cleans the bowel and discourage­s constipati­on. 6 Do not detox if you’re pregnant, underweigh­t, breastfeed­ing, diabetic, have an eating disorder or are under medical supervisio­n. 7 If you encounter any health problems while doing a detox, make sure e you see a naturopath or medical practition­er.
