Meghan’s not the only one with fam­ily mem­bers act­ing out of line. Last week it was re­vealedd the Duchess of Cam­bridge’s un­cle, Gary Gold­smith, wass ar­rested af­ter a late-night al­ter­ca­tion n with his fourth wife, Julie-ann, in a Lon­don on street near their home. me.

Gary, 52, was charged with as­saultlt by beat­ing af­ter the in­ci­dent, which was re­ported by a taxi driver and saw his 47-year-old wife knocked un­con­scious and taken to hospi­tal. He has now been banned from con­tact­ing her and will face court on Oc­to­ber 31.

It’s not the first time Gary, who is the brother of Kate’s mum Ca­role Mid­dle­ton, has made head­lines. In 2009, he was filmed al­legedly cut­ting up co­caine and brag­ging about his royal con­nec­tions. The mil­lion­aire busi­ness­man at­tended Kate’s wed­ding to Prince Wil­liam in 2011, and was also present when his niece – Kate’s sis­ter Pippa – said “I do” to fi­nancier James Matthews in May.

The duchess will find it hard to for­give this time. Un­cle Gary is sus­pected of do­mes­tic vi­o­lence.
