Missing fiancee mystery!

He prides himself on being upfront and honest when it comes to wooing Soph. But sources close to Jarrod say they’ve spent the past few weeks scratching their heads. During the first episode of the show, he revealed he was once engaged – but we’re told those in his inner circle have no idea who the mystery woman is! Jarrod, 31, claims he got down on bended knee in 2010 – raising the question, has he simply stretched the truth so as to have one more thing in common with Soph, who’s been engaged twice? This wouldn’t be the first time he’s brought up their similarities. Over the course of the series, we’ve seen him present her with a pair of ugg boots – one of her favourite things – and excitedly reveal that, like Sophie, he was “bad at school”. Conveniently, Jarrod tells us he’s no longer in touch with his ex-fiancee, who he says now lives in Cairns. “We’ve gone our separate ways. Our hearts were in a different place,” he says.
