Traditional cold & flu tea
THIS ANTIVIRAL HERBAL INFUSION IS BASED ON AN AGE-OLD RECIPE. IT COMBINES ASTRINGENT ELDERFLOWER WITH ANTI-INFLAMMATORY YARROW AND SOOTHING PEPPERMINT TO BRING DOWN HIGH FEVER AND DECONGEST A STUFFY HEAD
1 tsp dried elderflowers 1 tsp dried peppermint 1 tsp dried yarrow 500ml boiling water
1 Place dried herbs in a teapot or small saucepan, pour over the boiling water, then cover and leave to infuse 15 mins.
2 Strain, then drink a cupful when fever becomes high.
