KATE RITCHIE’S SECRETS TO STAYING BEAUTIFUL

The stunning mum, radio host and QV ambassador shares her skincare rituals

Never skip these two steps

It was important to wear SPF protection on the set of Home

And Away in sunny Palm Beach, and to remove all makeup at the end of each day. My hero product is the super moisturising 1 QV Face Revitalising Eye Cream $16.60

Find your signature scent

I always gravitate to Chanel fragrances. My favourite is Chanel No 5, as it feels warm and sophisticated. Growing up, I was a Marilyn Monroe fan, which may have something to do with my fascination with it! 2 Chanel No 5 Eau De Parfum 100ml $234

Always be gentle with your skin

Since having my daughter Mae, I’ve tried to be kinder to my skin by not chopping and changing products all the time. I like using QV Shower Milk. It’s soft, creamy and perfect on hectic mornings, as I don’t need to use a body moisturiser once I’m dry. 3 QV Shower Milk $11.20

Go makeup-free on occasions

I love a makeup-free day. When I took the job in radio I thought there would be more of them, but I was wrong! On the weekend, I try to survive on a moisturiser with SPF and a generous coat of mascara.

Opt for eyebrow feathering

Having my eyebrows feathered has changed my life. It’s a style of tattooing, which is far more subtle and mimics the real brow hair. The lovely Gee at Gee Gee Brows does mine once a year.

Treat yourself

I do love a pedicure and a full body massage. It may not be traditionally classified as a beauty treatment, but it makes me feel good.

Blondes do have more fun!

I love being more blonde. It reminds me of summer, but requires a little more care. So my new favourite products are 4 Oribe RunThrough Detangling Primer $54 5 Oribe Supershine Moisturising Cream $72 6 Oribe Masque For Beautiful Colour $89
