The singer g is livid after her best friend leaves her heartbroken
The look on Delta Goodrem’s face said it all. The Aussie pop star did little to hide her frustration when she was spotted in a heated exchange in Beverly Hills, after pulling over suddenly and getting out of her car to make a tense phone call.
Now friends tell Woman’s Day Delta was speaking to Aussie actor Hugh Sheridan, who has left her heartbroken after he was spotted with jewellery designer Ramona Agruma, who he is now thought to be dating. It comes just weeks after Delta, 32, and Hugh discussed the possibility of becoming parents together.
Hugh, also 32, shared a picture of himself cosying up to Ramona, who is the creative director of Delys jewellery in LA, at the Beverly Hilton on October 15. Just a week earlier, a source told Woman’s Day Delta was ready to start a family via IVF.
“She really thinks Hugh would make a great dad, even if it were an unconventional scenario,” the insider said. “She thinks they’ll have the most beautiful baby.”
Friends fear Delta could be on the verge of a meltdown, after Hugh appears to have moved on. “Delta’s not in a good way right now,” one friend explains. “Her recent break-up from Seal had a huge effect on her and now she feels hurt by Hugh, who is one of her best friends. “She’s trying to put on a brave face but Delta feels as if nothing in her life is going right.” Delta and Hugh have been friends for years, but ahead of their baby chat, the Packed To The Rafters star told The Morning Show, “I love her so much” and admitted he’d thought about marrying her. “Maybe one day we’ll get married… Never say never!”
