Respect to Molly

What a delight to read about bush doctor Molly Shorthouse ( WD, October 16) and her passion for and special connection with the Indigenous people of the outback, especially the Yolngu. Molly has not only shown great compassion and skill helping folk in these remote and harsh parts of the country, but learned to understand their extraordinary culture. One can only hope Molly’s invaluable experience will help teach and inspire other doctors and medical teams eager to follow in her remarkable footsteps. Judith Caine, Donvale, Vic
