FEARS FOR SIMON
Simon Cowell missed out on the first live episode of the UK X Factor last week after suffering a nasty fall at home. The show’s producer and judge, 58, later revealed he’d fainted, and explained doctors had told him it was likely to be the result of low blood pressure.
“I just remember feeling really dizzy,” Simon later said. “Next thing I know, someone was putting a neck brace on me and I had a terrible headache, which must have been from me hitting the stairs.
“Sometimes we get a reminder that we’re not invincible, and this was certainly mine. It was a huge shock.”
Fortunately, the dad-ofone – who has son, Eric, three, with partner Lauren Silverman – says he’s now “on the mend”.
