Maintain a consistent schedule

Once you’ve arrived at your destination, establish a bedtime routine. Get up at the same time every single day, even if you have to drag yourself out of bed. To shake off the jet lag, get 20 minutes of sunlight when you wake up. The vitamin D and UV rays will reset your internal circadian rhythm.

Make caffeine your friend

Have a small cuppa when you wake up. Your body clock will thank you for it, but be careful. Caffeine can last in your system for eight hours, so stop by 2pm, or you’ll spend the night tossing and turning.

Exercise, exercise, exercise

Kill two birds with one stone! Get Ge et the body of your dreams while securing a good night’s sleep. A great way to keep your circadian rhythm intact is to do 20 minutes of daily exercise.

Get some sun

At least 15 minutes of sun every morning will be your saving grace. You’ll be more alert throughout the day, making sleep easier to come by when you do hit the sack.
