The Hewitt clan looked anything but excited as they arrived at the Sunshine Coast Airport ahead of their family holiday to Noosa earlier this month – prompting yet more speculation Bec and Lleyton are feeling the pressure of the sportsman’s busy work schedule.
Lleyton, 36, scowled as he marched ahead of daughter Mia, 11, and his wife, and at one point he and Bec, 34, appeared to be caught up in a heated exchange. Their strained appearance coincides with Bec’s erratic behaviour at the Melbourne Cup, where fellow guests described her as “visibly distressed” and “upset”. “She was doing her best to contain her emotions but a friend had to console her,” says an onlooker.
On top of Bec’s bizarre behaviour, she looked unhappy as she posed for a picture with fellow WAG Emma Blake-hahnel, the girlfriend of tennis star Bernard Tomic, on Oaks Day. It’s no secret Bec isn’t a fan of “Bad Boy” Bernard and doesn’t like Lleyton spending time with him.
