Thoroughly modern bride Meghan and her smitten groom Harry begin the countdown to their big day!

It’s the wonderful news the world has been waiting for – head-over-heels Prince Harry and his gorgeous princess Meghan Markle are set to wed in May!

With less than six months to go until the much-anticipated nuptials, the loved-up couple are deep into making plans for the day we all knew was coming since Harry, 33, and Meghan, 36, began dating 16 months ago.

“Meghan has been dreaming of this moment for months,” reveals a friend of the US born bride-tobe, who says she knew very early on that Harry was to be her very own Prince Charming.

The couple have chosen to hold the ceremony at Windsor Castle’s St George’s Chapel – an hour out of London. It is the same church where Harry was baptised and Prince Charles blessed his marriage to Camilla Parker Bowles in 2005.

The chapel holds 800 guests but, keen to share their love with the world, Meghan and Harry have agreed to have their wedding televised, and it’s thought an estimated one million well-wishers will line the streets outside the church.

Harry and Meghan chose to wed in the Northern Hemisphere spring to ensure Harry’s sister-inlaw the Duchess of Cambridge, to whom he is incredibly close, will be able to attend, following the birth of her third child in April.
