MEGHAN’S FIRST DAYS AS A PRINCESS!

As she officially starts her royal duties, life couldn’t be more different for Meghan now she’s part of ‘The Firm’

Last week, a beaming Meghan Markle joined her husband-to-be in their very first official engagement together, cementing her as a bona fide member of the British royal family.

Together with her fiance Prince Harry, she visited Nottingham to support Full Effect, a program championed by the prince that tackles issues around youth violence and crime.

For long-time philanthro­pist Meghan, it was the perfect way to celebrate her engagement to the man of her dreams.

“One of the first things we started talking about when we met was the different things we wan wanted to do in the world and how passionate we were about seei seeing change,” says Meghan, reca recalling what instantly conn connected the pair. “That’s what got date d two in the books!”

It’ It’s also the start of a totally new existence for Meghan, who is se set to become the Duchess of Suss Sussex on her wedding day. She said goodbye to her life as a Holl Hollywood star the very moment she said “yes” to Harry Harry’s romantic romantic proposal.

The Suits actress has farewelled her home hom inn in Canada and has relocated relocated to London, Lond wwhere where she will live liv in Nottingham Cott Cottage at Kensington Palace, London, as the wife of the fifth in line to thee the throne.

But it won’t be all tiaras and teas for Meghan, who has now officially become the fourth patron of Heads Together, the mental health initiative Harry set up with his brother William and sister-in-law Kate. She’s raring to get stuck into the work, having officially ceased her roles as a World Vision ambassador and UN women’s advocate.

“It’s a new chapter,” she says of her life as a princess in training.

There are also some official matters to clear up before the couple’s big day. Currently, Meghan will have to pass a citizenshi­p test to become a naturalise­d British citizen. During this process she will have to sit a “Life in the UK”

test, which has questions about the Queen.

In addition, Meghan will be confirmed and baptised in the Church of England – the Queen being the Church’s Supreme Governor – ahead of the moment she says “I do”.

As she adjusts to life at the palace, Meghan, who now has round-the-clock protection by royal security, will enjoy the full

support of her new neighbours and in-laws Kate and William. Royal insiders say the foursome have become close, as they prepare for the biggest wedding the world has seen in years.
