Publicly they’ve only been dating for a month, but the honeymoon period seems over for Ewan Mcgregor and Mary Elizabeth Winstead.
“Ewan and Mary are having blowout fights that usually end in screaming matches and lots of tears,” a source close to the couple, who met on the Fargo set in January, tells Woman’s Day. “They say this just shows they have a passionate relationship, but it’s not a great sign it’s happening so early on.”
Ewan, 46, and Mary, 33, shocked Hollywood when their romance was revealed in late October. Both split with their spouses in May – Ewan from wife of 22 years Eve Mavrakis and Mary from writer-director Riley Stearns – and say their relationship began afterwards. But insiders say Eve, 51, suspects otherwise.
“Mary doesn’t want to be seen as a home-wrecker and she’s worried her reputation will end up in tatters,” says our source. “It’s causing a lot of resentment. The love between Ewan and Mary is there, but their relationship hasn’t started out under the best circumstances.”
