The casino mogul joins his ex-wife and kids in Mexico
Billionaire Australian businessman James Packer has secretly flown to Mexico to spend time with his former wife Erica and their three children, in a move friends say is a sure sign he is trying to woo her back.
James, 50, was snapped on one of his superyachts at Los Cabos but managed to evade the media and fly to Cancun, where he spent a few days with Erica, 40, and their three children – Indigo, nine, Jackson, seven, and Emmanuelle, five.
“I couldn’t believe it was really them,” admits an Aussie sunlover who saw the couple looking anything but divorced at one of Cancun’s most exclusive resorts. “James seemed really happy and Erica was very relaxed.”
Friends say James, who has spent the past year in Argentina since his explosive split with pop diva Mariah Carey, would like nothing better than to win back the heart of his second wife.
“It is my biggest regret that I let my marriage to Erica fail,” James admitted earlier this year, adding that he and Erica, who divorced four years ago, remain close friends and are in “a great place”.
Erica hasn’t been linked with anyone since she split up with British singer Seal last year.
