Wh hen Prince Harry revealed he hadn’t met Meghan’s father Thomas Markle before the couple’s engagement announceme­nt, rumours about his whereabout­s ensued.

Last week, Woman’s Day tracked down Thomas, 73, in Rosarito, Mexico, where it’s believed he fled from California, facing money troubles.

Although lh hth Thomas, a retired d Hollywood lighting director, chose not to comment on his daughter’s engagement at the time, his brother Michael, 78, has confirmed to Woman’s Day he’s delighted and will most definitely be walking Meghan down the aisle in May.

“I think he’s very pleased with the way things are going – who wouldn’t be?” Michael says.

And d while Harry hadn’t met Thomas before popping the question, the palace has confirmed he asked his permission to marry Meghan.

Sources close to the prince say he’s incredibly keen for his future father-in-law to be involved in the couple’s life together.
