Hughesy’s wild past: Drunk & disorderly!

He’s the cheeky radio host we all know and love – but life hasn’t been all smooth sailing for Dave ‘Hughesy’ Hughes. The 47-year-old recently admitted to being locked up on several occasions in his early 20s, after spiralling into a vicious cycle of depression, booze and drugs. “I was a binge drinker. I wasn’t drunk every day for five years – I just couldn’t control myself. When I did drink I was so depressed about it.”
