Back on!

When Elizabeth Hurley and Shane Warne called time on their three-year relationship in 2013, their fans were devastated.

As Warnie later explained, it was the love story of an Aussie larrikin and an “English rose” that we all hoped would end in one of the most memorable weddings of the decade.

But now it seems the former couple might be ready to give their romance a second chance, after Liz, 52, revealed she and her ex are closer than ever.

“Shane is still a good friend, we were texting each other last night,” she confessed. “Damian [Liz’s son] loves Shane’s ’s three kids, so o we’ll always be connected ed to each other er in one way or another.”

Since their r relationship came to an end – with the actress calling off their engagement after Shane reportedly failed to commit to a wedding date – the two have remained friendly and their love has never fizzled.

Last year on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, Shane, 48, told his fellow campers that his former fiancee was The One and that he’d never met anybody like her since.

“I’ve never got along any better with any female in my life and she [Liz] said I was the best she had ever got along with,” the cricket legend explained.

But if the two have decided to give romance another shot, they’re certainly doing their best to keep it under wraps.

Last week Shane insisted he’s been single for three years, ever since splitting with Emily Scott, the model and DJ he dated briefly after his engagement came to an end. Liz has also laughed off dating rumours, saying she doesn’t have time.

“When I’m filming, I don’t go out at all,” she says. “I walk in the door and go straight to bed.”
