MAFS stars Nick & Shaz’s off-screen battle
Frozen out by his TV wife, he’s now copping it from her dad!
As a contestant on Married At First Sight, Nick Furphy y quickly learned when to speak up and when to lay low around his fiery partner Sharon Marsh. h.
But he never imagined that months after their split, he’d also need to dodge barbs thrown at him by his one-time father-in-law Paul Marsh.
The protective dad has been slugging it out with his is daughter’s former lover on social media, after Nick posted pictures of himself with his new girlfriend, former model Amy-lee Dixon.
Nick’s fans were quick to compare Amy-lee with his ex, and Sharon didn’t come up well, much to her dad’s outrage!
“At least you have someone nice in your y life. The twins were only after fame,” one follower said. Another agreed, “When your stunning girlfriend s#%ts all over your ex. Talented and beautiful – hold on to her.”
But Paul was having none of it. “There must be a moral obligation for people to monitor their Instagram account.
“Not to remove vile crap says volumes about one’s lack of respect, immaturity and bullying towards an ex-partner, even if they only lived in fairyland together for about eight weeks.
“We opened our hearts and our home and our family to you and yours. This is how you repay us,” said Paul (pictured, inset).
Adding more fuel to the feud, fans were quick to step in and defend the Melbournebased reality star.
“@paulmarsh1924 how the hell does his post encourage bullies? Is he not allowed to move on? I’ve never seen him write a bad word about your daughter!” one angry fan implored.
Another cautioned Nick, 31, to “block the stalking eyes of” Shaz’s dad.
Now it’s even believed Sharon’s twin Michelle has jumped on the bandwagon and warned Nick to take down the comments.
But our source says Nick is sticking to his guns and refusing to take responsibility for other people’s opinions. Ow!
