9. Extend your repertoire

If you don’t believe in the power of paint, you only have to look at the dozens of bathrooms and kitchens I’ve absolutely transformed in my years with little more than a paint brush. With all the specialty paints available, you can revamp tiles, baths, benchtops, cabinets and appliances. This entire renovation (left) was done for around $1000, pretty much entirely with paint.
