Pip’s struggle with loss

-

AMANDA SAYS Pip tells me that she has been through quite a few big changes over the past few years. She tells me she has been with Jenny since she was a puppy and is a very young 14-year-old. Pip said she lost her best friend Clive the dog years ago. Clive comes through and tells me he passed from diabetes, but Pip still sees him around a lot. Pip then tells me her dad, Jenny’s husband, left. She loved her dad but she hasn’t seen him since he left. Pip tells me it was her just her and Jenny for a couple of years and then they moved house to move in with Jenny’s new partner and his two dogs. Pip likes the new partner but does not want any more changes to happen – she always puts Jenny first and worries about her all the time. JENNY SAYS I reached out to Amanda because poor Pip has had to deal with a torrent of changes over the past four years. I needed to know how he was coping. My husband’s departure and Clive’s death happened in rapid and sudden succession – to know this hurt Pip was quite the revelation. But above all, I was happy to find out that Clive was still spiritually around Pip. It’s good to know he is providing her with the comfort and guidance she needs.
