The ninth season of this series won’t disappoint. Last year ended with the Doc (Martin Clunes) facing a disciplinary hearing over his continued phobia of blood, which saw him collapse in front of a patient who then complained about him. The cliffhanger left viewers fearing he might not be able to continue as Portwenn’s doctor. Let’s hope the cards fall in his favour… ABC
