Comfort from the other side

- AMANDA DE WARREN

AMANDA SAYS Jess tells me he has passed over for three years, and that he was very well behaved. He knows how much he’s loved and missed by all the family and tells me he passed from cancer and had cataracts and arthritis. Jess shows me another dog that’s passed over – a fox terrier that belonged to the family many years ago. Even though they didn’t know each other, they are now firm friends. Jess tells Anne-maree that it was him that led them to Jet, the new black labby, who is now nine months old. Jet is rather a handful and knows how to play the game with all the family members. Jess loved all the family and talks about his dad (Anne-maree’s husband) who he loved dearly. Jess knows he is now in a box on the coffee table and everyone still talks to him and that he is still very much a part of the family and always will be. ANNE-MAREE SAYS I wanted to know if Jess thought it was his time to go. It was unbelievable to me that Amanda knew of Jess’ eye cataracts and arthritis. To top it off, she knew we keep his ashes in a lovely box on our coffee table. I pat the box and have a little chat with him every time I dust. My relationship with Jet has changed since the reading. I’m so happy, relieved and grateful to know Jess is watching over us, and cautioning Jet to behave himself!
