BEC & LLEYTON’S BABY SHOCK!

Sporting a noticeable bump, Bec prompts rumours she’s expecting a fourth child

-

From Sydney to The Bahamas – for years Bec Hewitt has travelled the world for the sake of husband Lleyton’s tennis career, putting aside her own acting dreams as she lived far from her family and friends.

But back on home soil for good and with those close to the couple saying their marriage is stronger now than it has been in years, Bec is finally living the low-key, happy family life she always wanted.

Now, she’s prompted speculation she’s had her ultimate wish granted – to have another baby. As our exclusive pictures show, the former Home And Away star looked to be sporting a small baby bump as she stepped out in Melbourne with her lookalike daughters Mia, 12, and Ava, seven, last week. At one point Bec – also mum to nine-year-old son Cruz – even placed a protective hand over her stomach as the trio made their way to their car. While Bec and Lleyton – who wed in 2005 – are yet to confirm whether Bec is indeed pregnant, there’s no doubt baby number four would be the icing on the cake for the actress, after what has been a wonderful 12 months.

PERFECT TIMING

The exciting news would come close to Lleyton’s impressive doubles run at the Australian Open in Melbourne.

Meanwhile friends say Bec, 34, has never been happier or more relaxed, having made the most of her new home life in Melbourne, where the kids are now settled at school and she is again supported by friends and family.

With Lleyton, as Davis Cup captain, spending more time at home these days, those close to the couple say it’s likely Bec finally feels supported enough to add to her family once more.

Friends of the tennis WAG say she’s been thinking about baby number four for some time, but that Mia starting high school this year has really made her realise it’s now or never.

CONVINCING LLEYTON

“Bec has never given up on her goal to have a fourth baby,” a source close to the Hewitts told Woman’s Day in 2016.

“She feels lonely now all the kids are at school,” the source said at the time.

If Bec and Lleyton are expecting, it will signal a welcome change of heart for the tennis star, 36, who insiders previously said was happy to stop at three children.

“He put his foot down after Ava was born and ruled no more babies, but Bec never gave up her dream and she’s been chipping away at Lleyton forever to change his mind,” says our insider.

And it would also signal the end of a difficult few years for the couple, especially during the times Lleyton has spent long periods away from home.

But with the possibility of a baby on the way, and with her family firmly back on home soil, it seems Bec – and Lleyton – couldn’t be happier.

‘Bec never gave up her dream to have another baby’

Glowing with a golden holiday tan and a dazzling smile, single mum Cassandra Thorburn looks and feels the healthiest and happiest she’s ever been.

“This is my second chance to have the life I truly deserve,” shares Cass, whose life was turned upside down just 18 months ago when ex-husband Karl Stefanovic ended their 21-year relationship.

“I’ve really turned a corner – I often look back and am comforted at just how far I’ve come. I’m unstoppable, and I’ve never felt more empowered.”

So it’s little wonder Cass was upset recently when she discovered she’d been secretly photographed without her approval on a family holiday with her two youngest children.

Fairfax Media social commentator Andrew Hornery took to Twitter to voice his disgust after the “unflattering” images were put on the open market in what he saw as an unfair attack on single mum Cass.

“Been sent really sh**ty set of shots of a TV personality’s ex-wife on a private holiday. Caption says she is showing off her ‘bikini body,’” he wrote, adding, “No, she is a middle-aged mother... the photographer is clearly lurking in the bushes. Don’t buy them.”

SWIMWEAR SHOOT

Cass, 46, took it in her stride, simply saying, “The sad bit about all of this is the kids agree it was the best holiday ever,” explaining “I was photographed completely unaware wearing my bathers. They’re very unflattering – what mum wouldn’t relate.”

Fast forward a week and Cass is laughing out loud as she prepares for her first ever official swimwear

shoot in a move to take back control, and show everyone just how happy and healthy she really is since regaining her confidence.

“I’m a journalist who married a journalist, and we’re not meant to be the story,” shrugs Cass, who never wanted to be thrust into the limelight. “It’s pretty funny how life changes. I never imagined I’d be doing this!”

FINDING HUMOUR

Fortunately, Cass has retained her cheeky sense of humour despite having to deal with the overwhelming and unwelcome interest in her divorce, laughing over what she sees as the ridiculous interest in her body.

She credits a much healthier diet and manageable exercise regimen to looking so fabulous – and a secret weapon to her remarkably toned figure.

“That would be the 97 steps down to my house from the garage! It’s OK going down but when you go up and down on school runs and grocery shopping, it’s like I’ve climbed Mount Everest at the end of every day!

“I’m a size eight – but we shouldn’t worry about what size we are, rather how we feel and ultimately our overall health. I never weigh myself, I do not own scales and I’ve never owned a set. I’m unwilling to believe my weight defines me or any woman.

“I look at my body and know it carried three glorious children – Jackson who is now 18, Ava, 12, and River, who is 11. Every day they make me burst with pride.”

With the launch of her first children’s book imminent, Cass already has a second book in the pipeline and publishing houses are knocking on her door as she continues to go from strength to strength. “There’s a light always at the end of some pretty dark tunnels – trust me, there really is!”
