be taking his nature-loving to the extreme – fans were left in complete and utter shock when he and Nicola posed up together for a set of nude photos last year. With his shirt off and kneeling beside his horse on their family farm in Northern NSW, Pete captioned one shot, “So wonderful to nip home for a day and reconnect to some very special beings in this life. “I had the most beautiful time together with Nic and our little furry family and I can’t wait to find another 24 hours to do it all again very soon. Entirely in #thepresent,” he added. Meanwhile, Nic – fully nude – told her followers to “be free” as she posed in what she calls her “bare earth suit”.
And it seems things are just as wacky in Pete’s home as they are on his Instagram account – the controversial MKR judge told Gourmet Traveller that, far from prepping the kids’ school lunches and chilling out in front of the telly on a Sunday night, he and Nic are “quite partial to a magnesium bath together and a meditation before bed”.
He also insists he is his own “biggest fan”. “Realising I’m the number-one person I need to love, accept, trust, forgive, nourish, celebrate and be in total awe of has been an endless breath of freedom,” he says.
CAVIAR KIDS
And if fans thought it was just Pete and Nic living a life a little out of the ordinary, the chef also revealed his girls consume a pricey dose of salmon caviar for breakfast every other day.
“Their fave breakfast is boiled eggs with salmon caviar (they had that this morning with some boiled and fried broccoli with a piece of bacon and kraut) and a green juice,” he said.
