Little Ryan is living out every child’s dream – to open new toys every day. And every day, millions of fans worldwide tune in to his channel Ryan’s Toys-review to watch his cute and quirky reviews, filmed by his mum and dad.

In the past year, the six-year-old internet sensation raked in a cool $14.5 million, making him the eighth most successful Youtube influencer on the planet, as Forbes magazine recently reported.

Ryan’s career began at the age of four when his mother Loann and father Sean picked up the camera and began filming him at his request.

“One day, he asked me, ‘How come I’m not on Youtube when all the other kids are?’” his mum recalls.

“So we just decided – yeah, we can do that. Then, we took him to the store to get his very first toy – I think it was a Lego train set – and it all started from there.”

While in the beginning his videos didn’t gain the attention of many, in July 2015 a video of him opening a giant surprise box containing more than 100 toys from Pixar’s Cars series went viral.

Instantly, his fame soared and now, that same video has had more than 800 million views.

Since the early days, Ryan has reviewed the hottest toys on the market, ranging from Pokemon cards to fidget spinners.

As his profile has grown, he’s hung out with celebrities like NBA star Kevin Durant and taken part in kid-friendly food challenges.

His channel also regularly features his mum – who gave up her career as a high school chemistry teacher to manage his career full-time – his dad, who is a structural engineer, and his younger twin sisters, Emma and Kate.

Now, two years down the track, the mini-multimillionaire has managed to accumulate a whopping 10 million Youtube subscribers, with one of his videos racking up over one billion views!

His parents have set up a trust fund with his earnings, for him and his sisters.

Despite his phenomenal success, Ryan’s parents want him to be happy – whether that involves Youtube or not.

“Every time I tell him we’re going to film, he gets so excited,” says Loann.

“As long as he loves it and it doesn’t disrupt his daily routine, we plan on continuing.

“But the moment he’s not having fun anymore, that’s when it will be time to stop”.
