Womb raider
She’s known as the vicious “womb raider”, who late last year pleaded guilty to murdering her pregnant neighbour, Savanna LafontaineGreywind, so she could kidnap her baby.
Brooke Crews, from North Dakota, USA, invited the 22-year-old into her home to show her a dress Savanna was interested in borrowing.
Kayakers later found Savanna’s body wrapped in plastic and dumped in a Minnesota river.
When police found the baby in Crews’ arms in the apartment she shared with partner William Hoehn, the manipulative 38-year-old claimed Savanna gave her the baby after she had helped to induce her.
While her sentencing is yet to occur, Crews’ ex-husband, from Sydney’s Blue Mountains, has spoken out, claiming she was completely obsessed with serial killers.
“She was always reading books on serial killers and murders, and could tell you anything about them,” he said.
Their relationship deteriorated after he discovered she had a secret past.
One former partner says she has seven children of her own.
