Don’t weigh yourself – it’s no reflection of a healthy weight. Measure your waist instead. For women, a measurement of 80cm or less is ideal. Take your transformation slowly. Baby steps. Read food labels, keeping an eye on sugar, fat and salt levels. Eat fresh foods and avoid pre-packaged. Include daily exercise, such as long walks. Chew every mouthful slowly – savour the flavour. Portion size is vital – use smaller plates and entree cutlery to make smaller portions look bigger. Don’t give up!
