BIG LITTLE LIES PAY MELTDOWN!
Actresses Reese Reesew Witherspoon and Nicole Kidman have in inked lucrative deals for season two of Big B Little Lies, but younger co-star Shailene Wo Woodley insists she’ll walk away if she doesn’t get a whopping paycheque too. “Shailene is not e even close to a deal and may not be in the second secon season unless they give her the money she sh wants, which is $634,000 per episode,” spills an insider.
“Reese and Nicole got sweet deals that nearly tripled their salaries to $1.27 million per episode and Shailene is pushing for some equality. There’s no script yet so they could easily drop her from the storyline, but she’s standing firm.”
Our Big Little Lies insider points out that a lot of the budget was swallowed up bringing Oscar queen Meryl Streep on board as the mother of late character Perry Wright, as well as keeping the big players and executive producers Nicole, 50, and Reese, 41, happy.
““Shailene has a lot of movie commitments this yea year and she really needs a financial and creative rea reason to come back to BLL,” adds the insider.
““Reese and Nicole don’t want to see Shailene go go, but they think she has to pay her dues before s she can make such demands.”
And there’s another reason Shailene, 26, wouldn’t exactly miss being a part of the second season of Big Little Lies. She’s recently got herself all loved-up with Australian-born rugby player Ben Volavola.
“This is the first serious romance she’s had in a while and she wants to enjoy that rather than go off for six months filming,” our insider says.
