BEN BLASTS JEN: I’M THEIR DAD!
When exes Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner got together to watch their son Samuel’s basketball game on a recent weekend, it was anything but amicable.
“You could cut the tension between them with a knife – the only time they seemed to be civil was when their son was with them,” says an onlooker.
And sources close to the former couple tell Woman’s Day it’s 45-year-old Jen’s blossoming relationship with actor Josh Duhamel, also 45, that’s driving a wedge between her and her ex.
“Ben doesn’t begrudge her moving on – after all, he did it first with Lindsay [Shookus] – but Jen has insisted that Lindsay stay away from their kids,” the insider says of her rules for Ben, 45, and his new partner.
“Now Ben’s hearing that Josh is spending way more time with Violet, Seraphina and Samuel than Jen lets on, and he thinks that’s pretty hypocritical.”
But our insider says Jen doesn’t see it that way, adding, “She says it was Ben who ruined their marriage and put them in this predicament in the first place.”
